XAT 2025 - Xavier Aptitude Test is conducted by Xavier Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur (XLRI) on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institute (XAMI). XAT is considered one of the most popular entrance tests after CAT to get admission in the management courses of various reputed institutes.
XAT scores are considered by more than 150 (150 in 2023) reputed Management Institutes in India to provide admission in various management courses running in them. It is a standardized test that measures the verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills of the young aspirants to help the graduate schools of business assess the potential of applicants for advanced study in business and management institutes.

Aspirants students should have passed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Eligibility criteria for taking admission to various management courses are: |

The aspirant for the XLRI Jamshedpur School of Management XAT Exam should be employed in a full-time job and must have at least five years of relevant managerial experience as of March after completion of graduation. |

Important: Applicants paying through Mode 2 & 3 should update the payment details on the registration page. Failure to do so, such candidates will not be allowed to upload their photos and signature.
Each Institute shortlists candidates independently. Candidates are required to apply for the institute of their interest separately.
Candidates interested in XLRI programs, after registration for XAT; should also apply to XLRI by visiting the site www.xlri.edu.
The fee for XAT is Rs. 2100/- (Rupees One Thousand only) for General Category Candidates and Rs. 1050/- for SC/ST/PWD Category Candidates.
There's an additional fee of Rs. 200/- if you want to apply to XLRI programs along with XAT.
There are three possible modes of payment.
Mode 1 - Online Payment Gateway:
Through VISA/Master Credit/Debit Cards(American Express Card is inadmissible) IDBI Net banking (this option is available only for IDBI account holders). |
Mode 2 - Cash Payment:
Applicant has to take a printout of the XAT pay-in-slip visit the nearest IDBI bank and make the payment. |
Mode 3 - Demand Draft:
Applicant has to get a DD made in favor of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" payable at Jamshedpur. |
