Goodbye Letter - Maternity Example

Dear Fellows,

You all are well aware of my Pregnancy, however many of you may not be aware that the time has arrived where I will be spending time with the ‘New Member’. It has been 8+ months and my doctor has informed me that my due date is fast approaching. Before I go on maternity leave, I would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding. You all have been very nice to me in the past few months. I appreciate your concern and support for me.

At the same time, I would like to inform that all department files and projects handled by me will be handled by ‘Patricia’ (I owe you Patricia). If you need any information you can contact her. She will also be the one whom I’ll keep updated about my status. And I expect gifts from all of you when you come to meet my baby.

I would like you all to be informed that this is not my ‘Final Goodbye’ and ‘I’ll be Back’ after a few months time. So till then it’s ‘Ta-Ta’ from me.
