21st Century Collaboration with UMass Lowell, USA Boston

UMass Lowell (UML) is a public research university located in Lowell, Massachusetts, with a branch campus in Haverhill. It's the largest university in the Merrimack Valley and boasts a strong research focus, ranking among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity. The university is governed by a six-member executive cabinet, including and led by the chancellor. The current chancellor is Julie Chen, who was appointed in May 2022. Marty Meehan, former UMass Lowell Chancellor, is currently the president of the entire University of Massachusetts system. Each has followed its own path of expansion through the 20th century. The main campus is situated in Lowell, Massachusetts, about 25 miles northwest of Boston, placing in a vibrant and historic city with easy access to the opportunities and committed to preparing students for work in the real world— solving real problems and helping real people— by providing an affordable, high-quality education.
