The Latin acronym for general surgery is MCh, or Master of Chirurgiae. This is the highest master's degree available in Surgical Science. In general, the MCh degree requires substantial study. Candidates and graduates are prepared for high-demand surgical careers.

  • A person must have at least an MS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India in order to pursue an MCh degree in several nations, including India.
  • The curriculum lasts 5 years for an MBBS, but just 3 years for an MD.
