Master of Engineering in Hydraulics Engineering
| Duration: | 2 Years |
| Level: | Post Graduation |
| Type: | Degree |
| Eligibility: | Graduation |
M.E. Hydraulics Engineering or Master of Engineering in Hydraulics Engineering is a two year post graduate Civil Engineering course. Hydraulic engineering as a sub-discipline of civil engineering is concerned with the flow and conveyance of fluids, principally water and sewage. Course helps to develop scientific and technological knowledge, to prepare students for engineering activities (design, running and maintenance) of structures and grids used for the collection, the treatment, the storage and the distribution of water. The program emphasizes the following focus areas: Experimental and numerical methods, constitutive modeling, physical modeling, numerical modeling and structural engineering, water treatment and resource.
M.E. Hydraulics Engineering Eligibility
- B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
- Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination to get admission to their M.E. degree course.
