Autobiography

A Biography is the history of the life of a person written by someone (they may be professional writer, their friends or relatives or sibling of the persons to get their biographies written) else. Where as An Autobiography is the history of the life of a person written by himself. These kind of extracts are usually written by famous people of the society to share their happy and not so happy movement of life of such event of their life that have really affected them to reach their where they are today. Now the question arises that “what is the purpose of learning this art of writing Autobiographies” if this has to be used by few persons of the society only. The answers lies in the fact that now a days with changing trend in writing, this form of art is being used to tell not only about the living being (that to famous ones) but also to tell about non living  things as well as animals by personifying them.

The pupil is asked to use his imagination by pretending to be another person, an animal or object, and, in the first person, write as that particular animal or object might be supposed to tell its own story. The story must be made as interesting as possible and told in simple language, such as in everyday talk.

When writing an autobiography, you focus on three major things: who you are in life, what life means to you and what your outlook on the future is.

Elements required  for writing a good informative Autobiography.

While writing one’s own autobiography one should write interesting facts about himself to explain at length. The first thing one should do when writing an autobiography is start off with a lot of facts about his life like when and where he was born, where he lived, where he went to school and who he lives with. He has to give a lot of information so that reader of the biography can clearly understand what he is going to know. Once written this introduction, one is ready to start his first paragraph of the autobiography.

The best way to start an autobiography is to state your name, explain the kind of person you are, tell about interests and traits; use facts about yourself such as: have you won any awards? What types of awards have you won? Did you finish school? Do you plan on going to college? After giving the initial well explained introduction you should state how you see your life as a whole means what life means to you. Are you happy and contended or still unsatisfied in life? Write about your days, your friends and some moments spend with them. After giving information about your past you should also put some light on your future plans i.e you should explain what you think the future will be like. Where will you be? How will you be living? Will you be married? Will there be any kids? Who will you be married to? What is he/she like? In the end i.e. in the concluding part you usually try to re-word the introduction and add some type of closure to bring the whole autobiography together.
