Alphabets of the English Language

Set of unique symbols or characters that represent language's sounds are known as alphabets Each alphabet usually represents a simple vowel, a diphthong - two vowels -, or one or two consonants. In short, we can say that alphabets are the smallest building blocks of a language. English has a total of 26 letters out of which 21 are known as Consonants and the remaining 5 (a, e, i, o, u) are known as vowels.

Alphabets of English can be written in basically two ways ie.

  1. In Capitals letters also known as “Upper Case”
  2. In Small Letters also known as “Lower Case”
