BA Journalism, Psychology, and English or Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Psychology, and English is a three-year full-time Under-Graduate Psychological program. The Journalism course is aimed at giving the students more than just an overview of the subject; it intends to make the students ready for a career in print journalism and related areas. There will be eight-core papers in journalism, covering a broad spectrum of areas of journalism and mass communication
The Psychology subject seeks to introduce the students to various psychological processes and familiarize them with different branches of psychology with a view to developing a holistic outlook towards life and preparing them for a great career ahead.
The Bachelor of Arts course begins with traditional British literature to the present. The course also introduces students to other literature namely the American world, post-colonial and Indian literature in translation. The course also introduces students to interdisciplinary studies in culture and gender helping them to gain insights from other disciplines like history, anthropology, sociology, etc.
Corse gives the students a significant opportunity to use media in new and creative ways by understanding how psychology and media work together. English Modern Language as an elective provides ample opportunities for students to develop their creativity, sharpen their critical and analytical skills, and enhance their language proficiency. The Bachelor of Arts course broadens their awareness of the culture of different places where English is used and enhances their appreciation and understanding of the world as a culturally diverse global society. The Bachelor of Arts course provides so many jobs after its successful completion.
