BE Environmental Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering is an Under-Graduate Environmental Engineering course. Environmental engineering is the application of science and engineering principles to improve the environment such as air, water, and or land resources, to provide healthy water, air, and land for human habitation and for other organisms, and to remediate polluted sites.
The Bachelor of Engineering course in Environmental Engineering provides broad studies in the physical, chemical, and biological sciences in addition to coursework in civil, mechanical, and or chemical engineering. Undergraduate students working toward a degree in Environmental Engineering will take courses that cover these fields including microbiology, organic chemistry, microbiology, hydrology, engineering geology, and others. The duration of the Bachelor of Engineering course in Environmental Engineering is four years and its syllabus is divided into two semesters each year.
