ME Geomatics Course Suitability

  • Those who have the capacity of doing such hard work as construction, property, cartography, offshore engineering and exploration, and geographic information systems are the most suitable for it.
  • Who has planned to become a teacher/lecturer after the completion of their post-graduation degree plus other qualifications also are suitable?
  • Applicants who can handle the data like that of collection, interpretation/analysis, and presentation of the natural, social, and economic geography of the natural and built environments can go for it.

How is the ME Geomatics Course Beneficial?

  • Candidates can work in an office setting using field data and aerial photographs or satellite imagery to create computer-based maps and drawings, develop Geographic Information Systems, or perform surveying-related calculations.
  • Second, others include surveying, mapping, and Geomatics companies, engineering consulting companies, all levels of government, and industries requiring maps.
  • The course is beneficial as it increases the knowledge of the students when they use data from a range of sources, such as aerial photography, satellite surveys, and laser beam measuring systems; using computer-aided design (CAD) and other IT software to interpret data and present information.
