B.E (Food Processing Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering in Food Processing and Technology program is an Under-Graduate Level Bachelor’s Degree program. The Food Processing and Technology program lasts four years. This four-year span is broken into eight semesters, each of which lasts six months.
The Food Processing and Technology division is concerned with food production, processing, packaging, and preservation, as well as the application of technology and engineering approaches to the many phases of the Food Processing Industry. Food Processing and Technology is concerned with various stages such as growing fruits using scientific techniques, chemicals, and so on, harvesting them using modern machinery and techniques, storing them, using preservatives to keep them from spoiling, and processing fruits to make other edible items in processing plants such as jams, juice, pulp, and so on, packaging fruits and products made from them, transporting edible items and fruits, and so on. As a result, this Engineering area encompasses a variety of stages, from manufacturing to transportation.
