M.Des Communication Systems or Master of Design in Communication Systems is a two-year Post-Graduate course. The Master of Design program in Communication Systems focuses on equipment, devices, and technologies that communicate voice, data, and multimedia information. Students learn to design, operate, install, and service communications systems and equipment to meet the needs of businesses and other organizations. Programs have five fields of specialization: media studies, organizational communication, government communication, health communication, and identity and diversity in communication.
The Master of Design curriculum in Communication Systems consists of core courses devoted to the design basics of VLSI systems, hardware description languages, and CAD tools. The purpose of the Master of Design course in Communication Systems is to provide exposure to the wide variety of technical, managerial, and organizational issues essential to the provision of information technology for the commercial application of data communication systems.
