ME Machine Design or Master of Engineering in Machine Design is a two-year Post-Graduate Mechanical Engineering course. The Machine Design program curriculum involves the Analysis of static and dynamic forces to design machine elements to meet strength, safety, reliability, and cost specifications.

The Master of Engineering program in Machine Design focuses on the Design of Mechanisms and Components using Analytical, Numerical, and Experimental approaches. The course includes the Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity, the Theory of Plates and Shells, Advanced Vibrations, Finite Element Analysis, Kinematics Design, Tribology and Bearing Design, Fracture Mechanics, Experimental Stress Analysis, etc.
