M.Tech Machine Design or Master of Technology in Machine Design is a Post-Graduate Mechanical Engineering course. Machine Design is the process of engineering design which includes computer-aided design and manufacturing. Some of the subjects of study include electrical and electronics, fastening and joining, fluid power, manufacturing, engineered materials, mechanical engineering, and motion control.

The duration of the Master of Technology course in Machine Design is two years and the syllabus comprises four semesters. The syllabus for the Machine Design course is divided into four semesters plus five electives. The course is important and valuable and provides different types of job opportunities after its completion. It is being offered by most colleges and universities throughout the country due to its job-oriented nature.
