For Level One Primary Teacher (General) Aspiring candidates should be intermediate or class 12 pass with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board or university along with a two-year diploma in elementary education or a graduate degree from a recognized university or institute. |
For Level One Primary Teacher (Sanskrit) Aspiring candidates should have completed Varistha Upadhyay or its equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with at least 50% marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education from a recognized institute or university. |
REET syllabus consists of questions from the following subjects/topics:

REET exam consists of 150 marks to be completed in 2:30 Hrs time as given below:-
1st - 5th Class Teachers
Pattern for 6th - 8th Class Teachers
For Social Studies Teachers - 60 Objective Type Questions - 60 Marks Or
For Other Subject Teachers - 60 Objective Type Questions - 60 Marks
