Participle Exercise 4

Rewrite each of the following sentences, by changing the Participle into a Finite Verb:

    1. Having lost his passport, he applied for a new one.
    2. I once saw a woman walking on a rope.
    3. Walking on the roof, she slipped and fell.
    4. Going up the stairs, the child fell down.
    5. Having no guide with them, they lost their way.
    6. Being paralytic, I could not walk.
    7. Hearing the noise, she woke up.
    8. Working all day, we were fatigued.
    9. We met an old Sadhu walking to Benares.
    10. Not knowing my way, I asked a gentleman.
    11. The enemy disputed their ground inch by inch, fighting with the fury of despair.
    12. Walking up to the front door, I rang the bell.
