ATM Technician Job Description
ATM technician job includes working with a variety of tools, in order to get inside of the ATM such as the knowledge of various ATM systems including NCR, Wincor, Fujitsu, and Diebold.
ATM Service Technicians also are responsible for on-site diagnosis and technical fixes. It may include a card, bill, and paper jams, as well as network connection problems. Maintenance may need to be performed on the ATMs, which include the replacement of card reader belts, light bulbs, air filters, and much more. Equipment cleaning may also have to be done, based upon service agreements that are in place.
ATM Technicians are mostly employed on a full-time basis. But sometimes, they are needed for repair on weekends and holidays which may result in overtime work opportunities. There are some of the titles they can have after having a job in the concerned department.
Initially, ATM Technicians can earn a salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000 per month. Their monthly salary increases as their work experience increases. Sometimes they can also earn on a part-time basis on an hourly basis in their free time.
