Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University is a public autonomous law University. Formerly, it was known by the name Andhra Pradesh University of Law (APUL). The law institute located at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 2008 by an Act of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly (Act No. 32 of 2008). Its main campus is at Visakhapatnam and two centres, at Kadapa and Nizamabad. It has been conferred the status of a National Law University. It conducts teaching in law and allied disciplines along with practical training of the students in technical skills through Moot Courts, Seminars, Project Reports, Expert Lectures, work and Interns in law chambers.

Library Facility - The University offers World class library for modern legal education of global standards and for research. It also provides National and International law journals to students for their educational needs.
Net Facility - The D.S. National Law University has National Knowledge Network (NKN) for giving overall knowledge to students.
Anti-ragging Facility - The University has well and strong rules against ragging in the University premises.
