MMC or Master of Mass Communication is a postgraduate Mass Communication course. Mass communication describes the academic study of the various means by which individuals and entities relay information through mass media to large segments of the population at the same time. It is usually relating to newspaper and magazine publishing, radio, television and film, as these are used both for disseminating news and for advertising.
During the Mass Communication course, the program has three major tracks of study. At every step, students are taught to critically examine the role of mass communication in society, and all students are provided with a firm grounding in theory and analysis. Graduates are prepared to be leaders and critical thinkers, but it depends on them what career they opt for.
