Ph.D. Human Nutrition or Doctor of Philosophy in Human Nutrition is a Doctorate Nutrition and Dietetics course. Course covers the areas relevant to human nutrition including nutrient metabolism, diet and disease, nutrition through the life cycle and nutrition behaviours. The master degree course provides an integrated overview of the physiological requirements and functions of protein, energy, and the major vitamins and minerals that are determinants of health and diseases in human populations. Ph.D. Human Nutrition Eligibility
- M.Phil. Degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognized institution of higher training.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/industry/administration/professional experience at senior level.
- Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination to get admission to their Ph.D. (Human Nutrition) degree course.
