Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education is a deemed university located in Agalakote, Karnataka. It is also known as Sri Siddhartha University and helped / supported by a society. Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, (declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956) Tumkur, was established vide MHRD GOI No. F.9-31/2006-U.3 (A) dated: 30/05/2008 of Govt. of India.  Sri Siddhartha Medical College and Sri Siddhartha Dental College have been functioning as constituent colleges of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education since 01/06/2008.

Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES) was founded by late Sri H M Gangadhariah also the founder secretary of the society, with the blessings of saint and seer, the father of ‘Bhoodan movement’ Sri Vinobha Bhave in 1959, has made a leap in the field of education. The Society which started as a residential school in a village near tumkur then established several nursery, primary and high schools including Pali schools in the later years. It further expanded its domain to Technical, Medical and Dental Education.

Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education Facilities

Library Facilities - There are library facilities for the students in all the 3 colleges of the University. They provide good and well established infrastructure and modern facilities. The libraries are well stacked with relevant books and have enough area for students for reading. They have an air conditioned digital library. 

Hostel Facilities - The institution has separate both boys’ and girls’ hostel with mess facilities. The capacity of boys’ hostel and that of girls’ hostel is sufficient for providing accommodation.

Anti-ragging Facilities - There are good facilities for curbing ragging cases. It deals strictly with any incidence of ragging within the campus. It may also include debarring the student / students involved in ragging. It is constituted an anti ragging committee for the welfare of the students.

Other Facilities - The institute has several facilities also like Bank & ATM, Post Office, Canteen, Gymnasium, Laundry, internet, cafeteria and Campus Health Centre.
