Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET) was established in the year 2003 based by Jaypee Group on the MOU signed between Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (a not-for-profit trust sponsored)  and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The Government of MP has made vide gazette extra ordinary no. 3 of 2010 dated 29th April 2010 that has established Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET), Raghogarh, Guna. It is a private university in the State of MP under the provisions of MP Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam 2007. The JUET campus on the national highway linking Agra to Mumbai sprawls over 100 acre.

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology (JUET) Facilities

Hostel Facilities - There are separate hostel facilities both for boys and girls in the University. There are 20 blocks of boy's hostels with 1370 students’ capacity and that of girl’s hostel 298 inmates. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities like beds, mattresses, study tables, almirahs, ward robes, lights, fans and Internet connectivity and centralized air cooling facility. Hostels are complete with common room facilities, indoor games facilities, T.V. room and news / reading room.

LRC Facilities - Learning Resource Centre is having intensive collection of handbooks, standards manuals encyclopaedia, technical reports, project reports along with the prescribed text and reference books and National & International printed journals. LRC also have electronic material, CD ROMs, full text e-books and 6 e-resources IEL, ASCE, ACM, Springer, SD (Chemical & Bio Technology, EE,ME,CE,CS,IT & IS)) ProQuest-ABI-INFORM through INDEST Consortiums.

Annapurnas - They have been established for boys and girls and provide them dining facilities. They have a modern steam operated kitchen; dining hall is equipped with dining tables to accommodate around 500 students at a time in three dining halls.  A cafeteria equipped with a modern hygienic kitchen is also operational in Annapurna complex.

Health Facilities The University’s Health Care Centre provides the medical facility to its residents both students and staff. There are two experienced doctors including one lady doctor, two compounders and one pathologist. There is also ambulances facilities, first-aid and  Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) facilities.

Sports Facilities The University provides facilities for Indoor Games and Gymnasium, Basket Ball, Cricket, Volley Ball, Tennis, Football and Badminton. There are proposed a stadium, Swimming Pool and Open Air Theatre.

Gym Facilities - The Health Centre of JUET is equipped with three well set-up Gyms mainly comprise with heavy weight and light equipments. Gyms are endowed with home gym, eight stations Gym, all types of benches, power stepper, magnetic jogger, weight lifting kits, cable cross, twister, dumbles, exercise bike, absleemer, floor type weighing scale, etc.

IT Facilities - All the blocks of JUET premises including hostel and accommodation, are connected via LAN through the latest IBM and Compaq Servers. There are 20 no. of servers having specification G3, G4, G5 and G6 Series XEON and Nehalem Servers, Intel P-IV Series. The major servers are Database Server (Oracle / SQL), Mail Server (Lotus Domino), Web Server, Proxy Server, S/W License Servers, Domain Controllers(2), Unix/Linux Servers, Storage Server with 1TB Capacity, Antivirus Server, ERP Server etc.

Electricity Facilities - The University campus is equipped with two 33 kvs Electric Substations and Distribution System. We have got the sanction to establish an independent 24 hour supply feeder. To provide continuous power supply, we have four DG sets of 750,500,320,320 KVA capacities. A DG system has been provided for back up.

JUET Youth Club (JYC) - The J.U.E.T Youth club is responsible for organizing various literary, cultural, sports and technical events every year. It endeavours its members in gainfully utilizing their time and energy. Activities are carefully planned to provide an environment for nurturing of excellence, self-confidence and personality. The Club is totally run by students under the guidance of the faculty coordinators.

Bank Facilities - There are two banks namely Oriental Bank of Commerce and Axis Bank which deal with the banking facility of the students as well as the institute. An ATM counter of Oriental Bank of Commerce has been established at the main entrance of the university and an ATM counter of Axis Bank has been established inside the academic block.
