MSc Extension and Communication or Master of Science in Extension and Communication is a Post-Graduate Home Science course. First and foremost, communication is the act of transmitting significant information. Communication needs the existence of a sender, a message, and an intended recipient, albeit the receiver does not need to be present or aware of the sender's wish to communicate at the time of communication; hence, communication can occur over vast time and space gaps.

Second, an extension telephone is a phone that shares the same phone line as another phone. The Master of Science in Extension and Communication degree normally lasts two academic years, however, this can vary per institute and certain programs may be offered part-time. The Master of Science degree in Extension and Communication is a four-semester program that prepares students for a variety of careers.

MSc Extension and Communication Eligibility

  • Aspiring candidates should have secured more than 55% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 3.5 in the UGC (from outside the state of Rajasthan 60% or CGPA of 4.0) Seven Point scale or equivalent in the Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or Technology or Medicine or Pharmaceutical Science shall be eligible for admission to First Semester of a Master of Science course.  
  • They should have passed their Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry, Biology, etc. under any registered or recognized University in Science stream.
