Film Producer is a professional who initiates the process of making a film. Production of films is one of the most daring and challenging professions in the film industry. Film Producer's job includes shouldering the responsibilities of pre and post-production film, leave alone the making of the film. He is overall in charge of a film. The producer is responsible right from raising finance up to marketing the film. The producer's role is even sometimes combined with that of directing.

He should really be hungry for success as he is the one who is going to be affected the most financially if the production could not match the satisfaction of the masses. After completing 12 classes from any stream the aspiring candidates can go for Various Diplomas, Advanced diplomas, or UG courses in Film Production. However, some reputed institutes with limited seats may take an aptitude test before granting admission to their institutions.

After getting a UG degree or diploma in film production aspiring candidates can join some film production house for job training or take up their independent assignments and work with the help of their assistants. The advent of multiplexes, hundreds of movie channels in electronic media, scores of web series, and a huge number of internet movie channels has increased the demand for movies and other sources of entertainment thereby increasing the demand for professionals expert in the art of Film Production. As far as remuneration are concerned he is not the taker of the remuneration, in fact, he is the one who has to arrange the finances for his production unit.
