About University of Kota

The University of Kota (UOK) is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It was established with the assent of Governor of Rajasthan and recognized by UGC in 2003 under the state act. It offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate level. His Excellency Sh. S.K. Singh, Governor of Rajasthan is the Chancellor of the university. At present the University of Kota has 129 affiliated colleges and autonomous departments. The mission of the University of Kota is to make this university a great seat of learning and to establish centres of excellence in Departments for teaching and research in different faculties and interdisciplinary fields through which students can bring out their hidden potentialities in lime light and contribute effectively towards the development of their beloved motherland ‘Bharat’ and humanity as whole.

Regional Centers - It has six regional centres in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota,Ajmer and Bikaner. It also has 33 study centres all over Rajasthan,

Kota Open University Session - Registration usually begins in the months of November or December and the session starts next January.

Kota Open University Educational Material - Printed matter are sent by post to students. Audio/video matter can also accompany printed study material depending on the course. Practice material / exercise kits are also supplied. Face-to-face interactive sessions are held according to the demands of the course.
