Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (JJTU) is a Private, Multi Disciplinary; Research based University established in the year 2009. It provides Under Graduate and Post Graduate Courses in almost all disciplines including Management, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Information Technology and Applied Sciences. It has been established to cater to the needs of higher education especially in remote area of Shekhawati Region in Rajasthan. JJTU was founded and established as a Self Financed University by an Act of the legislative Assembly of the Rajasthan vide Act No. F2(5)  Vidhi/2/2009. It has been founded and managed by Shri Rajasthani Seva Sangh - A Public Charitable Trust Registered under Societies Registration Act. The trust is involved in the field of education for more than 50 years. The campus of Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (SJJTU) is spread over an area of 31 acres of land having facilities like sports complex, computer facilities, computerized library, wi-fi etc. SJJTU is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), COSIA, FICCI, CSI etc.

Location of SJJTU

The university is located at Vidyanagari, near the village of Churela at Jhunjhunu-Churu Road, Jhunjhunu. The campus is at a distance of about 20 kilometres from the city of Jhunjhunu. The campus is at a distance of approximately 200 km from Jaipur. It is at a distance of about 65 kms. from BITS Pilani.

Transportation

Jhunjhunu is located at 180 km from Jaipur and 245 km from New Delhi. It is well connected with Delhi and Jaipur by bus service and trains. The nearest airports are Jaipur and Delhi. There are regular flights from Mumbai to Jaipur and train services from Mumbai to Jaipur as well.

Hostels – JJT University provides separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls. Students can opt from air cooled/air conditioned rooms having all the necessary amenities.

Library - The University library has a collection of around 30,000 books. It subscribes to leading journals both national and international, newspapers, magazines etc. to keep the students updated on information.

Fee Concessions – JJTU provides various concessions especially for girls.

These concessions are:

• 100% Fee Concession for Under Graduate and Post Graduate Girls who secure 80% Marks
• 75% Fee Concession for all Under Graduate and Post Graduate Girls
• 25% Fee Concession for Under Graduate and Post Graduate Boys who secure 80% Marks

Laboratories - The JJT University has well equipped laboratories. Almost all the departments have their own laboratories. Language Laboratories are held regularly to help students improve their diction, tone as well as expression.

Dining Hall - The central dining hall has a seating capacity of 180 people at a time. It is equipped with its own bakery. Here authorities, the faculty members and the students all dine together to have a feeling of belongingness.

Lecture Theatres - The University has acoustically designed Lecture Halls equipped with modern teaching aids like Over Head Projectors, Multimedia Projectors etc. for effective teaching-learning process.

Bank - Oriental Bank of Commerce in University campus has ATM Facility for staff and students.

Transport - The University provides transportation facility to faculties, students and research scholars from Jhunjhunu and campus. Bus facility is also extended for Industrial visits and tours.

Computer Centre – The centre is centrally air-conditioned and is equipped with hi-tech computers numbering up to100. Here, the students are trained in various programming languages, conduct research and developmental activities.

Internet – The sped of Internet connectivity at the campus is 2 MB. The whole campus is a Wi-Fi enabled campus which provides high bandwidth speed to all the offices and departments of the University.

Conferences - JJT University is a research based university and it organises a number of conference and workshops to encourage the research scholars and faculty members to be exposed to area of research being pursued in India and abroad.

Corporate Social Responsibility – Under it the university supports various programs of social, cultural and educational importance. Some activities conducted by it are - Tree Plantation, Maintenance of Shaheed Smarak, Jhunjhunu, Fan and Furniture donation to Government School, Chudela.

Games and Sports - The campus has ample space and provision for various indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, aerobics, carom-board etc.

Auditorium - University is having 600 seater auditorium which is centrally air-cooled equipped with hi-tech infrastructure. The auditorium includes the balcony, orchestra set in music room, photography laboratory, computerized lighting system and two large green rooms.

Conference / Seminar room - The conference room is equipped with LCD TV & LCD Projector for Group Discussions, Personnel Interviews, National and International Conferences / Seminars etc.

Gymnasium - The University provides a well-equipped gymnasium keeping in mind the health and fitness of the students.

Placement Cell - JJT University placement cell facilitates employment to students through various activities like GD, Mock Interviews, PD etc. JJT University is sponsored by Shri Rajasthani Sewa Sangh and it is formed by migrated Rajasthani people. Most of the trustees own industries and have vast connection with several industrialists. Hence every effort is being made to provide employment to students who are leaving the University after their successful completion of course.

Guest House - It is situated inside the university campus and has air conditioned rooms with various facilities like refrigerator, television, telephone and attached washrooms. It also has a main dining hall situated on the first floor which can house a gathering of more than 30 people in a buffet system. The guest house is also networked and has Internet nodes provided in each of the rooms.
