Dr. KN Modi University - DKNMU is a Private University providing education in multidisciplines like arts, commerce, science and others. It has been established by the Government of Rajasthan as per Rajasthan State Legislative Assembly Act No.8 of 2010 & approved by UGC under section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956.notified on 22nd April 2010, and empowered to award degrees under section 22 of UGC ACT. It is named after Late Dr. Kedar Nath Modi, a leading industrialist and philanthropist who founded Dr. Kedar Nath Modi Foundation. The foundation promotes excellence in varied fields of education and social service. It has opened various educational institutes in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. DKNMU follows continuous Evaluation Methodology with credit and grade based system. It has a sprawling 42 Acres Campus with infrastructural facilities like amphitheatre style classrooms and modern laboratories. The University believes in green technology and its building is eco-friendly. Eco friendly fly ash bricks have been used to boost thermal insulation and cut energy requirements. The periphery around the campus has a green buffer of heavy plantation, which filters out dust and noise from the vicinity and helps in maintaining pleasant surroundings. Rainwater harvesting system has been adopted. Waste water is recycled for horticultural needs. Solar energy panels supplement power generation and provide hot water in winters and street light at night. An in house sub-station is operational. This takes care of the electrical needs during power failure.

District Tonk is one of the prominent districts of Rajasthan. It is bound in the north by Jaipur, in the east by Sawai Madhopur, in the south by Bundi and Bhilwara districts and in the west by Ajmer district. Newai is a small Industrial Town with a population of around 80,000.

Facilities at DKNMU
Hostels – The University offers separate hostels for Girls and boys in the campus itself. The hostels provide basic services and others like laundry service, free house-keeping service for every room, Wi-Fi connectivity etc.
Library – The University Library has a collection of about 26000 books. It also has collection of E-books, E-Journals and access to other E-resources. The library is also a member of DELNET.
Scholarships – D.K.N.M.U. offers various scholarships for all programs on the basis of qualifying percentile or percentage.

Special Scholarships – There are some special scholarships which are applicable for first year students only.
Some of these are:
Learn-by-practice – DKNMU uses the learn-by-practice method of teaching methodology the most, apart from other methodologies. In this method all theoretical aspects of the subjects are taught alongside of regular laboratory trainings.
International-Tie Ups – The University is a member of Businet, an International organisation of higher education, with 93 members across 25 countries, which encourages student and faculty exchange. The University has also established International-Tie Ups with various Universities for Student and Faculty Exchange. Some of these universities are European University, Orkhon University, West Coast University and University of Nusantara.
Language Laboratory – It is used for language tutorials. This facility is especially for students who want to improve their English. Remedial English Lessons and exercises are recorded on a weekly to keep the students exposed to a variety of listening and speaking drills. These classes also build confidence and helpful for interviews and competitive examinations. The Laboratory sessions also include word games, quizzes, extemporary speaking, debates, skits etc. These sessions are complemented by online learning sessions which take place in the multi-purpose computer laboratory.
Syndicate Rooms - These provide appropriate environment for teamwork, where students master their team skills through exercises like brain-storming session, group discussions, role plays etc.
Sports Facilities - The campus has standard jogging track, football ground, basketball court, tennis courts, modern gymnasium along with other indoor games such as, table tennis etc.
Study Loans - Dr. K.N. Modi University is in collaboration with its banking partner Punjab National Bank for assistance in channelizing Education Loans to the willing students at convenient rates and terms. Students are free to avail of this facility. However, by such assistance, Dr. K.N. Modi University will not be a party to the Loan Agreement signed between the Bank and the student. Therefore, Dr. K.N. Modi University shall not be responsible for any liability.
Auditorium – The auditorium has a capacity of seating 360 people. It used by students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interface and other management events.
Placement Cell – The cell guides and counsels students in achieving their respective goals. It organises Industry interactive sessions, workshops, seminars, paper presentations, and quizzes. It sends placement invitation letters to the companies which visit the campus for a Pre-Placement talk either before the selection processes or combines it with the final recruitment. The University has forged linkage with many top notch industries like Wipro, Zenith, Reliance Communications, Ellora Eduventures Pvt Ltd., Glodyne Tecnoserve Ltd. and many more. This facilitates real time interaction with large number of corporate and also benefits summer and final placement.
Corporate Interaction - The University is an active member of National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN). NEN provides support to start-ups and early-stage entrepreneurs through high-impact entrepreneurship education.
