Homoeopathy University (H.U.), Jaipur is a Private University specialising in Homeopathic Education. It has been established and sponsored by Dr. M.P.K. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre Society, Jaipur. The society is a non-profit organization promoting, sponsoring and spreading knowledge, learning, education and understanding in the field of Homoeopathic education. The evolution of the Homoeopathy University dates back to 1965 when it started as first Homeopathy College in the state of Rajasthan on 01.09.1965 as Rajasthan Homoeopathic Medical College, Dr. Girendra Pal, Dr. R.P. Mathur and Shri P.L. Banerjee were instrumental in doing so. Later, with the establishment of Dr. M.P.K. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre Society, it was known as Dr. M.P.K. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre. The first affiliation was sought from Uttar Pradesh Board of Homoeopathy, Lucknow for BMS Diploma course. In the year 1969, Rajasthan Homoeopathy Act came into existence and Rajasthan Homeopathic Medicine Board was formed which granted affiliation for OHMS Diploma course in 1977 and for BHMS degree course in 1983. In 1986-87, University of Rajasthan granted affiliation for BHMS Degree course. The college became first in India to start Post Graduate education in Homeopathy in 1990. The College was also the first one in the country to start M.D. course in Homoeopathy. It has been trendsetter for formulation of CCH Regulations for PG courses elsewhere in the country. The College was granted University status in the name of Homoeopathy University, Jaipur (Rajasthan) by the Government of Rajasthan through Ordinance on 13.10.2009 and later by Act (No. 6 of 2010 of the State Legislature of Rajasthan and Notification No. P. 2 (10)/vidhi/2/2010) dated 03.04.2010 of the State Government of Rajasthan. Homoeopathy University has India’s largest campus of homoeopathy education spread over an area of 33.8 acres. Over the years it has emerged as a Centre of Excellence in Homoeopathic education and research. It is also known as to world's first Homoeopathy University. Its infrastructural facilities include conference hall, internet facility, audio visual room equipped with LCD/Slide/Digital Projector, EPABX System etc.

Facilities at Homoeopathy University, Jaipur

Hostels - H.U. Jaipur has two hostels, one for girls and one for boys, both having the capacity to accommodate 100 students.

Library – It has a collection of 30,743 books on Medical, Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-chemistry, E.N.T., Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.

Sports Facilities – H.U. Jaipur provides sports facilities for outdoor games like Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball and Tennis. It also provides facilities for indoor games like Carom, Chess and Table Tennis.
