Course describes aetoilogy , pathophysiology, principles of diagnosis and management of common problems including emergencies , in adults and children. It helps to develop communication skills, in particular the skill to explain various option available in management and to obtain a true informed consent from the patient. A candidate pursuing the course should work in the institution as a full time student. No candidate should be permitted to run a clinic/ laboratory/ nursing home while studying postgraduate course.
