Diploma in Laryngology and Otology (DLO) is a postgraduate course which is also termed as Post Graduate Diploma in Laryngology and Otology. First, Laryngology is the branch of medicine which deals with disorders, diseases and injuries of the vocal apparatus, especially the larynx. Second, Otology is the branch of biomedicine which studies normal and pathological anatomy and physiology of the ear as well as its diseases, diagnosis and treatment.
