M.D. Tropical Medicine or Doctor of Medicine in Tropical Medicine is a two-year post-graduate programme. Tropical medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with health problems that occur uniquely, are more widespread, or prove more difficult to control in tropical and subtropical regions. Involved in diagnosis and treatment of the patient suffering from Leukaemia, Thalassemia, Haemophilia & other bleeding disorder, Lymphomas and patients having other haematological disorder (both indoor & outdoor). This program focuses broadly on issues of tropical health and on clinical tropical medicine. Toward the program's conclusion, students will have acquired a strong scientific basis for preventing, diagnosing, treating, and controlling tropical health problems.
