The NorthCap University - NCU formerly ITM University is a self-financed, private University. It was earlier known as 'Institute of Technology and Management'. It was established under the Private Universities Act No 25 Of 2009 Government of Haryana to promote excellence in Technical and Management education by Educate India Society, registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860. The University was established to meet the acute deficiency of centres of higher learning in the country and to meet the technology and management challenges of the 21st century. It 's founder members are Mr. Navdeep K. Dewan, Mr. Avdhesh Mishra, Mr. Vijay Daulet Singh, Mr. Vijay K. Makhija, Mr. Shiv Saran Mehra. It has state of the art infrastructure workshops, laboratories, the library in an aesthetically designed and centrally air-conditioned campus which enhances the learning process. ITM University and its degrees are recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission) and its courses have been approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The University is also approved by Bar Council of India.
B.Tech. Fees Structure
The Annual Fee structure approved by the Governing Council of ITM-Autonomous Institute at its meeting held on 21st March 2009 and by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Haryana vide their letter No. 1399-1400/Engg. dated 11.05.09 for B.Tech. Courses applicable to resident Indian students w.e.f. 2009-10 is as under:

Facilities
Hostels - Hostel accommodation, if provided, will be considered on the basis of need and availability, in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down in this respect by the Governing Body of the Institute. The University provides limited Off-Campus accommodation, on a shared basis, with clean and hygienic dining facilities, separately for both boys and girls. These Hostel have been arranged by the Institute and operate on a self-financed, no profit-no loss basis by recovering all actual costs of running and maintaining the hostel(s) and mess, including their rent. The hostels are spacious, well ventilated and are located within walking distance from the Institute. Good accommodation can also be obtained at reasonable prices in the vicinity of the Institute. This accommodation can be obtained with the assistance of the Institute's accommodation office or local estate agents.
Hostel Facilities:
LIRC - Library and Resource Centre holds documents predominantly related to engineering, and its allied subjects and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of information resources that are useful for academic and research purposes. It subscribes to a number of journals, magazines and newspapers. It is also a member of DELNET and has a digital Library as well.
Sports - The University provides various sporting facilities like Cricket, Hockey, Soccer, Volley Ball, Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis. Every year the Institute organizes various intra and inter college competitions and tournaments in all games and sports activities. These include Athletics Track and Field events such as races, long / high jumps, short-put, javelin throw, discus throw etc. and numerous football, volley-ball, cricket matches and chess and carom contests. Those who excel in sport activities are given various awards, prizes, models and certificates.
Transport - The Institute operates a Shuttle Bus Service between Delhi and the Institute for the convenience of its faculty and students. This shuttle service operates on a self financed, no profit - no loss basis on all working days, at fixed timings. It originates from and terminates at a central locations in New Delhi.
Health Services - A Health Centre is proposed on the Campus. Till its completion, Uma Sanjeevani a nursing home / polyclinic of repute has been retained on a visiting basis to provide comprehensive primary and urgent health care three days a week during the academic year. Students are free to use this service, as and when required.
Academic Resource Centre - The Centre provides assistance, counselling and support for students who wish to sharpen their career prospects by enrolling in 'Education Plus' courses aimed at improving their academic, writing, communication and study skills.
Student Resource Centre - This centre provides help in writing, reading, comprehension, study habits, particular subject, academic decision, a learning disability, an international issue. A variety of learning services are provided which include peer tutors, peer consultants, student advisor's, learning specialists, and a host of other helpful and professional academic support services. The Writing Centre is an invaluable resource for ITM students, where highly trained students and volunteers work with you to sharpen your written communication.
Facilities for Disabled Students - The University provide resources for students with disabilities to help them achieve their academic potential. The Institute is open to students with disabilities and provides access to all programs for which they enrol. Special effort is made to provide opportunities for participation in extracurricular activities and to encourage personal development and independence.
Cafeteria - The Institute has an extremely well-kept self service cafeteria appropriately named ‘Sip-n-Bite Café’. It caters to the students taste-bud and is a great place to unwind in between the hectic lecture-lab schedules. The cafeteria also houses a small stationery shop from where students can get the big and small things needed in a scholar’s workaday life.
CAEP - Centre of Academic Excellence & Planning offers professional development services to all faculty and staff at the institute. The centre works closely with all faculties to ensure that faculty members are given the greatest possible range of tools and facilities to provide a rich learning experience for students. The Centre aims to cultivate knowledge and critical thinking through dialogue and collaboration. CAEP is dedicated to create an environment for learning and discovery, which fosters personal growth and promotes each person's uniqueness and independence.
Women’s Grievance Cell - Separate Women Cell has been set up certified to address the grievances of women faculty, if any.
Placement Facilities - ITM maintains a focused approach vis-à-vis the career prospects of its students. It ensures all assistance and guidance for quick corporate placement to deserving and eligible students. ITM's centre for Career Services and Professional attachment provides a full range of programs including career education, counselling and job search assistance. Students are invited to begin the process early, preparing their career objectives, writing their Resume and planning ahead for summer internships. Individual counselling with the Head, Career Services and Professional Attachment is available to students throughout the Year. These sessions usually cover a wide range of issues, including introduction of students to the Career Development process, Self Assessment and Career Exploration, the benefits of hands-on experience and the development of effective job search strategies. Students are also advised on how to research careers, gather information about specific career options and access information on the Internet.
Alliances - Alliances/partnerships/affiliations with leading trend setting universities and colleges like University of Warwick, University of London, The London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Leeds, Nanyang Technological University.
SPIC MACAY - The Institute is also a part of the internationally famous organization SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Music and Culture Amongst Youth). The Institute organizes musical concerts twice a year under the aegis of SPIC MACAY wherein students witness performances by renowned exponents of Indian Music (Vocal and Instrumental) and Dance. The students thereby get an opportunity to develop an awareness of Indian culture and heritage.
Momentum - The University produces the annual student magazine ‘Momentum’ which is also a forum to help develop the creative abilities of students and staff. The magazine gives an overall view of the social-cultural interaction and inter-personal interaction amongst students, faculty and staff.
Annual Cultural Festival - The Institute celebrates its cultural Festival called ‘Momentum’ each year, which is a five day programme packed with a number of cultural, technical and literary competitions. It includes a host of events like Debates, Group Discussions, Antakshari Competitions, Fashion Show, Quiz Programmes, Poetry Recitation, Singing Competition, Musical Performance by popular artists, JAM Sessions, dramatics, indoor and outdoor sports, dance competitions and much more.
Cerebration - The Institute also organizes a technical festival called ‘Cerebration’ where the students get an opportunity to participate in various technical events like Motor Boat Racing, Technical Paper Presentations, IT Symposiums Project Displays, LAN Gaming, De-bugging, On the Spot Programming etc.
Community Development Programs - The Institute conducts Blood Donation Camps on a regular Basis in association with the Red Cross Society and the Rotary Bank. The Institute also lends forward its support to the underprivileged with the help of NGO’s like PRAYAS, CRY etc. The University also provides free vocational training to 2 adopted villages around the Institute for sharpening their career prospects. The training also serves the purpose of supplementing villagers School level education with a vocational bias so that they could set up small units in their own villages. The training is spread over three months duration covering skill developments in Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Shaping and Welding. The course is designed taking into consideration various vocational courses in Polytechnics.
Workshops - The Institute organizes workshops with the help of the Art of Living foundation and other such foundations.
Alumni - The University has a highly effective Alumni Network of about 2,542 alumni.
