O. P. Jindal Global University is a non-profit global university established by the Haryana Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 2009. It is also known by nickname as JGU and is established in memory of the O.P. Jindal. The university is located in Sonipat district of Haryana, India. It is UGC recognized University. JGU emphasizes to promote global courses, global programs, global curriculum, global research, global collaborations, and global interaction through a global faculty. JGU is spread over a 70 acres state-of-the art residential campus in the National Capital Region of Delhi.

Hostel Facilities - JGU provides best class facilities to students. There is Laundry in the University. Students, Faculty and staff can utilize their services. The University campus has a convenience store close to the student hostels where items of daily needs and snacks are sold. Both the Academic Block (classrooms, library, faculty rooms, gymnasium, health center, ATM etc.) and the entire Student Residence (student rooms, common rooms, dining halls etc.) are centrally air-conditioned.

Global Library Facilities - The JGU Global Library is housed in a centrally located and with approximately 20000 sqft space. There are spacious readings halls, most modern IT infrastructure that provide the right ambience for reading and research in the Library. It provides a campus-wide access to its catalog and e-resources through Wi-Fi technology. The teaching and research work of the University, however, is also supported by online resources such as Westlaw International, LexisNexis, Hein Online, JSTOR, Manupatra, and IndLaw. It provides access to over 3000 electronic journals, reports and a variety of other resources.

Internet Facilities - The JGU provides state-of-the-art facility to all corners of the academic block and student housing. The service is being managed with the efforts of three major corporate houses in the country: Wipro, BSNL and Reliance. Laptops are also provided to students and faculty members.

Sports Facilities - The JGU Sports Society has been playing a crucial role in integral part of student and faculty life. There is a wide variety of sports facilities to keep students engaged and physically fit. The Society is taking initiatives to conduct an inter-college tournament in the future, apart from selection and training of teams for various sports to represent JGU. The University has good facilities for the following games: Lawn Tennis, Basket-Ball, Football, Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball and Indoor Games in the Common Room.

Dining Facilities - The University offers the services of Sodexo for providing essential meals during the day in the student residence, which is open for students, Faculty and staff. The dining hall is also equipped with a CD player and speakers. Sodexo is a French multi-national concern, and one of the largest food services and facilities management companies in the world.

Health Facilities - The University has good class facilities regarding health. There is a provision of Ambulance and it has a permanent health centre, for faculty, staff and students. It acts as a small University’s infirmary, which has all essential equipments installed and 24 hour assistance available. The Health Centre employs a consultant, a permanent physician / doctor, nurse and office boy.

Gym Facilities - The University gymnasium comprises hi-tech equipments including treadmills, spinning machines, elliptical trainers and international standard weight-training equipment. There is Yoga facilities in the University.

Anti-ragging Cell - The JGU has adopted JGU Anti-Ragging Regulations 2010 (ARR) to take care of preventive, procedural and punitive aspects of ragging. There are anti-ragging committee and squad in the University for monitoring ragging case; if there is any.
