Central University of Haryana is located in Jant-Pali village, Mahendragarh district of Haryana, India. It is one of the 15 Central Universities established by MHRD, GoI under the XIth Five Year Plan (2007-12). The University is fully funded by the UGC. It is to be set up in 500 acres, has been established through an Act of Parliament (The Central Universities Act, 2009) by the Government of India. The territorial jurisdiction of the Central University of Haryana is the whole of the Haryana. The University is currently operating from its temporary campus at Narnaul Government College. As per the university sources, it will be named after Lord Krishna.

Library Facilities - The University has a well-established Library to lead an academic information infrastructure that enhances and meets the changing needs of preservation, discovery, transmission, and the application of knowledge, creativity, and critical thought.
Women Empowerment Cell Facilities - The University has a cell for the development of women's cause. It established to provide an empathetic counseling environment for psychological empowerment to students and local women about their problems which they cannot share easily.
Reading Club Facilities - The University has launched the Book Reading Club to provide a platform for the students and faculty to organize book-review and book-reading sessions on the latest publications and relevant books.
Legal Aid Clinic Facilities - The University has also set up this type of service for the students. It is committed to the cause of society and to provide free legal aid to the needy.
Skill Development and Capacity Building Cell Facilities - This facility are offered by the University to students so as to help them identify their potential/strength; to make the students aware of the career avenues available in different disciplines, etc.
Cultural Facilities - The University has taken the initiative to promote the spirit of Culture, Arts, and Heritage on the campus. It is formed a group in order to develop the personality of students. It also targets to sensitize the students about the importance of culture, arts, and heritage.
