The Apeejay Stya University is India’s first liberal arts and Meta University primarily focused on research, technology and innovation across various disciplines.

Aimed to facilitate studies through value-based education, the university encourages scholars to contribute to the welfare of society, empower learners with a fundamental establishment in leadership; train them to adopt themselves to the changing economy.

Established by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation in the state of Haryana [under Act No. 10 of the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2010], the ASU offer students the ‘education for life’ and promote scholars for cultural leadership for the transformation of society.

Located on the Sohna-Palwal Road in Gurgaon district of Haryana, APU has a thriving campus with advanced infrastructure and world class amenities. The university offers graduation, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across various disciplines based on the best education practices of some of the leading universities of the world.

APU is largely expedited by the strong industry-academia linkages, already established by the prevailing Apeejay institutions of higher learning in all disciplines being offered by the University.

Hostel

For the benefits of students coming from other cities, APU has a well-resourced hostel facility. The hostel comprises both the single and the double sharing room with AC and non-AC facility. The fee of the hostel varies according to the room a scholar choose to stay in.

Financial Aid

The university provides a scholarship and the financial aid to meritorious students and to those who are financially unstable thus cannot meet their higher education expenses.

Merit scholarship

The Apeejay Stya University offers several scholarships and financial aid on merit basis to students. These are offered to students who have attained certain minimum performance standards in competitive examinations (or qualifying examinations), or to students who are genuinely unable to meet their higher education expenses.

Founder scholarship

In remembrance of Dr. Stya Paul, the Apeejay Stya University offers the prestigious ‘Dr. Stya Paul Memorial Scholarship’ to 100 best academic achievers of the country and help them pursue their studies at the Apeejay Stya University.

These meritorious students are provided 95% scholarship on the tuition fee on all Bachelor programmes, so they only have to pay a total of Rs. 10,000 per year as part of their tuition fee for each year of their degree.

Eligibility

• All students who have appeared for their 10+2 examinations at the CBSE Board or equivalent Board recognised by ASU and have secured 90% and above marks.
• Students who have pending Board results this year but have recorded 90% aggregate in their Pre-Boards are also eligible for the scholarship.

Grants and Fellowships

Students applying for Master’s and Doctoral programmes have the facility to apply for a number of research grants and teaching fellowships in APU.
