M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology or Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology is a postgraduate Medical Lab Technologist course. Nuclear Medicine Technology covers the branch or specialty of medicine and medical imaging that uses radio nuclides and relies on the process of radioactive decay in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The duration of M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology is mostly of two academic years but it varies from institute to institute. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is providing in two years on full time basis. The minimum time to complete the course is also two years. Course is available both in full time and part time basis. The syllabus for the course is divided into two parts-Basic Sciences and Instrumentation.
