BLDE PGET 2024 Eligibility 

Educational Qualification

The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by the Medical Council of India. OR

As specified by the Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:

a) General category 50 percent.
b) SC/ ST & OBC (OBC as declared by the Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 percent.
c) Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 percent.

Note: Foreign / PIO / NRI students are exempted from BLDE PGET. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.

BLDE PGET 2024 Pattern

  • BLDEU-PGET will have the following pattern.
  • There will be only one test which will have 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
  • The time allotted for the test shall be 180 minutes.
  • The test will begin at 2:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm
  • Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Answer Sheet.
  • Each correct answer is awarded one mark.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • No mark/s will be awarded for multiple markings (marking multiple responses) for any question.

Note: There will be no Negative Marking.

 

How to apply for BLDE University PGET 2024?

To apply for BLDE University PGET application forms can be downloaded from our website. Relevant information and data entry is to be made in the online application format by the candidate before generating the application form. The hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures should be sent to the University.

Note: provision for Online submission of application is not available.

Instructions to candidates for filling the application form.

a. Ensure that. a) Demand Draft for Rs.4000/- is drawn in favor of The Registrar, BLDE University, Vijayapura, Bijapur-586103 b) Ensure that the D.D. is payable at Bijapur-586103, Karnataka State. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected for any reason (because of incomplete information or ineligibility of the candidate) or if the candidate does not appear for the Entrance Test.

b. To generate the application form, Data Entry has to be made properly and completely, as this data is from the University database and will be considered as the final record.

c. The completed application form must have the signature of the candidate, left thumb impression, the signature of the candidate's parent/guardian, and authentication by a Gazetted Officer / Head of the Institute where the candidate has completed his/her M.B.B.S degree.

d. Do not send any ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS along with the application form.

  • Affix your recent (not older than six months) color photograph in the space provided.
  • Photographs should be of passport size, sharp and clear.
  • Candidate, who regularly wears spectacles, shall send his photograph wearing spectacle.
  • The person should not wear sunglasses, caps, etc which will mask identity. Application with smudged /tampered or hazy photographs will be rejected
  • The photograph should not be stapled or pinned on the application form.
  • Signature and attestation are not required in the photograph.

e. Incomplete/incorrect applications are liable to be rejected without any notice to the candidate.

f. Any application received after the last date shall not be accepted; whatever may be the cause.

g. The application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned below and after verification of the same submitted in person/speed post/courier. The completed form shall be sent to The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Bijapur - 586103, Karnataka State, India. (in A4 size envelope please mention PGET-2024 Application on an envelope).

Checklist of the documents to accompany the completed application form

  1. Demand Draft for Rs. 4000 drawn in favor of The Registrar, BLDE University, Bijapur payable at Bijapur-586103, Karnataka State. (Write your full name and application number on the back of DD). Check for the banker's signature on the DD.

Photocopies of the following documents attested by a gazetted officer should be submitted.

  • Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate
  • Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate or Certificate indicating the probable date of completion issued by the Principal/Head of the Institute.
  • Registration/Provisional Registration Certificate
  • Attempt Certificate
  • All marks cards including that of failed year/phase if any(First year to Final Year)
  • The certificate issued by competent authority for candidates claiming lower eligibility under Locomotor disability / SC / ST / OBC (Karnataka) categories.
  • Two additional copies of photographs (write your application number on the back of each photograph and attestation is not necessary) are the same as pasted on the application form.
  • In the case of Candidates who have studied outside India, it is mandatory that they have to enclose copies of the Screening Test Result & MCI Registration certificate.

 

BLDE University PGET Exam 2024 Fees

The Application should accompany a D.D of Rs. 4000/- drawn in favor of “The Registrar, BLDE University, Vijyapura, Bijapur”, payable at Bijapur, Karnataka, and shall reach The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, BIJAPUR-586103 (Karnataka).

 

BLDE PGET Exam 2024 Dates

BLDE PGET Entrance Examination is generally held in the month of February.
