PPSC MO Exam 2024 - Punjab Public Service Commission Medical Officer (General) Exam acronym as PPSC MO (Gen) Exam is conducted by PPSC for their recruitment of 306 posts of Medical Officers in the department of health and family welfare. It is conducted on an India-level basis. Medical Officer is a senior government official of a health department in every state.

Educational Qualifications

• Aspiring applicants should have completed an MBBS Degree from a recognized university board. OR
• They should be registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with any other duly constituted Medical Council in India. OR
• Candidates should have knowledge of Punjabi Language up to Matriculation Standard or its equivalent.

Note: Candidates who do not possess this qualification shall have to acquire this qualification within six months of their joining the service failing which their services shall be terminated.

Imp. The candidates must possess the requisite qualification before or by 12th March 2024 (i.e. the last date of submission of Online Application Forms.)

Age Limit

• Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as of 1st January 2024. (few exceptions), for more details go to the PPSC website (http://www.ppsc.gov.in)

Nationality

• The candidate shall be a citizen of India or Nepal or subject of Bhutan
• Tibetan refugees who came over to India before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India

PPSC Medical Officer (General) Exam 2024 Syllabus

PPSC Medical Officer Exam will consist of questions from the following subjects/Topics:

PPSC Medical Officer (General) Exam 2024 Pattern

PPSC Medical Officer Exam will consist of Objective multiple-choice types of questions.

• Candidates not more than three times the number of posts shall be short-listed for interview.
• There will be no negative markings in the written test.
