Bihar PGMAT 2024 - Bihar Post Graduate Medical Admission Test Acronym as Bihar PGMAT is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board ie BCECEB for providing admissions into MD / MS / PG Diploma (PGD), MDS & MD (Ayurveda) Courses in various Medical, Dental and Ayurvedic Colleges in the State of Bihar.

Note: The candidates who are permanent residents / domiciled of Bihar and have been admitted in MBBS (BDS for MDS and BAMS for MD(Ayurveda)) course on the basis of competitive examination conducted on behalf of Govt. of Bihar or by CBSE (under All India Quota) before the bifurcation of Bihar i.e. 15th November 2000 in Medical/Dental/Ayurveda Colleges situated in Jharkhand and have obtained the degree of MBBS/BDS/BAMS are also eligible for appearing in this competitive examination for admission in academic session 2021 in this Course Group.
Important: The candidates must have completed the rotating Internship. A candidate who has passed the MBBS/BDS/BAMS Examination but has not completed the rotating Internship may be allowed to appear at PGMAT on a provisional basis but he must complete the rotating Internship before the date of Counseling/ Interview for PGMAT, otherwise, he will not be allowed to participate in the counseling/ interview.
Note: A candidate, who has not obtained permanent registration from Medical/Dental/Ayurveda Council of India or Bihar State Medical/Dental/Ayurveda Council but is otherwise eligible, may be allowed to appear at PGMAT on a provisional basis but he must obtain the same within one month from the date of his admission in P.G.Course as per the rules of the Medical Council of India, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be canceled. He must also be registered after admission under the concerned University within the period prescribed by that University.
A candidate, who is not a permanent resident of Bihar but has passed the MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS Examination from any Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda College of Bihar State included in the Schedule of Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda Council of India, is also eligible as per the directive of the Hon'ble High Court, Patna in C.W.J.C. No.3448/2000.
Bihar PGMAT will consist of questions of MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS standard and shall cover all the subjects of the MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS Course.

Aspiring candidates can apply for Bihar PGMAT Online. The Prospectus for appearing in PGMAT-2020 can be downloaded online from the latest updates column of BCECE Board's website i.e www.bceceboard.com by clicking on the link "Online Application Form for PGMAT". After that click on the 'Apply for PGMAT' button and follow the instructions that appeared.
