Computer Aided Embroidery & Needle Work or Computer Aided Embroidery & Designing is a small scale embroidery craftsman Trade. Computer aided embroidery means a hardware/software combination that allows for design sizing, positioning and continuity in a way that would otherwise take hours or days for a person to do alone. The hardware is always an embroidery machine and the software can either be loaded on the embroidery machine itself or onto a laptop connected to the machine. Students are introduced to various aspects of embroidery by Instructors during their course of study. As the trade is professional one in nature so there are so many jobs available in Cloth/Embroidery Industry after its successful clearing. The duration of the trade is one year with two semesters of six months each.

  • Students should be passed in 10th class under 10+2 System of examination from a recognized school in the country.

  • Students should need to be known of software skills include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver, and able to work on both Window and MAC platforms.
  • Students also have knowledge of both traditional hand sewing techniques as well as computer design programs.
  • They should also be dedicated to details and possess a strong sense of creativity and applied design.
