ITI's which provides courses for Electroplater

more_vert

Electroplater is an electrolytic process vocational Trade. The duration of the trade is two years with four semesters with six months each. Students are introduced to various topics like coating of gold, silver, nickel, chromium, copper etc. of required thickness to metal parts by electrolytic process. Examines strength of metallic solution and sets anode plates in solution; suspends degreased components well dipped in side plating solution and connects cathode to it. They also taught of regulating current and allow components to remain dipped in solution for specific period depending upon type and thickness of plating required; removing components and swills them in hot and cold water baths; dry them in sawdust or centrifugal air-dryer. The trade is good in small scale industries for jobs including self-employment.
