Library & Information Science is a library managing trade. The duration of trade is six months and one semester. Students are taught many aspects of library like managing collections, present information; introduction to research, theories, and approaches and the practices of library and information science; information representation and organization, information architecture, content and collections, information needs and uses and information technology. There are many ITIs offering trades in the country and it is career orienting in nature that provides many jobs to students after its passing successfully.
