Mechanic Maintenance (Chemical Plant)

Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) is a mechanical maintenance vocational trade. The duration of trade is two years with four semesters of six months each. The trade syllabus mainly comprises topics like induction training familiarization with Institute, importance of trade training, introduction out machineries and equipments used in chemical trade, work done      by trainee, introduction to safety equipment, first aid and fire lighting equipments and their uses in the section; workshop, fire prevention, fire control in chemical industries; study of personal protective equipments used in chemical plant; environmental pollution, sources, causes, consequences and controls; role of maintenance mechanic in the Chemical Industries and the like others. Trade is career orienting in nature that opens many opportunities in various fields.

 

Maintenance Mechanic (Chemical Plant) Trade Eligibility

  • Students should be passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized school board in the country.
