NEET PG 2024 - National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Post Graduates acronym as NEET PG is a Computer Based Test (CBT) taken by the National Board of Examination (NBE) to provide admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

It is a single-window entrance examination for PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at the state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG diploma courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2018 admission session. The examination shall be held in 86 test centers in 41 cities

NEET-PG 2024 shall be applicable for:

• All India 50 percent quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses (all states except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana)
• State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all states/union territories of India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana)
• MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all private medical colleges, institutions, and universities/deemed universities all across the country
• MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at armed forces medical services institutions
• DNB broad specialty courses

NEET PG 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• The aspiring candidates should have an MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an institute recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act.
• They should possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
• They should have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete on or before the 31^st March of the respective year and are eligible to take NEET PG Exam.

NEET PG 2024 Pattern 

• NEET-PG will comprise 300 multiple choices questions with a single correct answer.
• The questions will be only in the English language.
• The time to complete the test will be 3 Hrs. 30 Mins.

Note: There shall be no negative marking in NEET-PG.

NEET PG 2024 Syllabus 

NEET PG consists of questions from subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Government of India.

How to apply for NEET PG 2024?

Aspiring candidates can apply online by visiting the official website i.e., http://nbe.edu.in/. Candidate needs to create their profile to fill out the NEET-PG application and schedule the test. The estimated time to complete this process is 15 minutes.
