UPPGMET 2024 - Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test acronym as UP PGMET is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA), Bareilly for providing admission in M.D./M.S./ Postgraduate Diploma course to the affiliated colleges.

Educational Qualification
The aspiring candidates must have completed the MBBS course from an institute duly recognized by the Medical Council of India. The Internship of the candidate must be completed before April 01, 2021. The candidate must have his / her registration with the State Medical Council / Medical Council of India. For NRI / Foreign candidates, the above-mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical Council of India.
The syllabus for UP PGMET will be the same as prescribed for the Master’s courses by the Medical Council of India respectively.
The number of questions from different subjects in the paper shall ordinarily (but not necessarily) be as follows:

UPPGMET will consist of 250 objective multiple-choice type of questions carrying one mark each.
The minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in UPPGMET shall be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) and merit shall be determined on the basis of marks secured in UPPGMET.
There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
More than one answer marked in the OMR answer sheet will also be considered as the wrong answer. Only a black ballpoint pen shall be used for answering on OMR answer sheet.
How to apply for UP PGMET Test 2024?
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association. The filled application form along with DD of Rs.1500 drawn in favor of "UPUMCWA", should be payable at Bareilly to the below address. The application form can also be obtained from the cash counters of the participating colleges. Candidates are supposed to submit the following documents with the application form.
