BSc (Soil Science) or Bachelor of Science in Soil Science is a four-year duration Under-Graduate level course. The Soil Science course deals with the Management of soil in a scientific way. It includes agronomical and engineering measures adopted for erosion control. Students learn about various types of soil and how to manage water at the time of irrigation. The candidates in soil science learn to identify, interpret, and manage soils for agriculture, forestry, rangeland, ecosystems, urban uses, and mining and reclamation in an environmentally responsible way.
