Post Graduate Diploma in Post Harvest Technology is a postgraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Post Harvest Technology defines that how fresh produce is handled, transported and stored to maintain quality from grower to consumer. During the course students will study the following core modules: Postharvest Physiology & Pathology, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and Postharvest Technology. The duration of P.G.D. in Post Harvest Technology is one year divided into two semesters and also may be offered by some certain institutes on part time basis.

Students should have passed 4 years B.Sc. (Agri.) / B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) exam of the University or an equivalent examination recognized by the University and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate under traditional system or an OGPA (Overall Grade Point Average) of 2.5/4, 3.5/5, 4.0/6 and 6.0/10 under the course credit system.
For SC/ST only pass marks is required for this course.
Entrance test will be regulated as per existing ordinances of the PET.
