Basic Requirement
One needs have passed XII in any subject stream with a good percentage to pursue a Graduate degree in Business Management Course. However, subjects such as Commerce, Economics and Mathematics are preferred as they give a better understanding of Business Studies. Selection is either on the basis of class XII marks or through an entrance test. Post graduation in Business Management studies require a undergraduate degree (BA, BSc. or BTech.) in any discipline and clearance of entrance selection processes. A requirement of a minimum of two years of work experience is likely to be introduced for eligibility to most master's programmes to keep them on par with international management courses. The IIMs at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore and Kozhikode (Calicut) are autonomous Institutions set up by the government of India which are renowned for their Management Courses. These are rated as the premier business schools within the country and are reputed abroad for the calibre of their alumni.

The globalization of business has created ample job opportunities for Business Management Graduates. Labour, goods, and services are being exchanged more often than earlier. Manufacturing, communications, and transportation technologies with their various innovations have also helped in the growth of business all over the world. This has created a huge demand for Business Management Professionals. Therefore Fresh Business Management Graduates are usually recruited on-campus. Corporate organizations, multinationals, foreign banks, foreign financial institutions and others woo students from the top management schools with lucrative job offers. Remuneration - MBAs are one of the highest earners in India. Remuneration package for the MBAs vary depending on the size and prestige of the recruiting organization, the candidate's qualification and the Institute of Training. they could be as low as Rs. 10,000 per month or as high as Rs. 2,00,000 per month for IIM graduates. An MBA degree holder with an additional professional qualification, like Chartered Accountancy (CA), Indian Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA), Company Secretary (CS) or Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA), are eligible for higher pay packages.
