The aspired outcome of every work done by us is happiness. Whatever we do is because we want to be glad. Our need for happiness keeps on burgeoning. We always think that we can be and we deserve to be happier than this. Thinking like this can spoil our present moment and make us despondent. Almost most of us think and react in this way. The desire for happiness is never-ending. This often gets associated with satisfaction. As we do not feel contented with what we have we never get happy. Happiness is the ultimate goal of life. But this happiness cannot be achieved until we are satisfied with ourselves. By changing the way we live we can certainly find our happiness.

Tips to Stay Happy all the Time

  • Start Living your Life: Some people think that their happiness lies in buying new clothes, travelling to new places, earning more capital, being rich, or building a better relationship. But all of us need to understand that while chasing these fake reasons for happiness we forget to enjoy the present moment. Even after achieving these vague goals of happiness we do not feel cheerful. This is because we are not contented. We keep on thinking that if we will have this, we will be happy in the future. In the hope of a happy future, we make the present sad. Instead of thinking about the future, we should live our present and enjoy its each and every moment.  If we start living our life and enjoy all its moments, happiness will hold our hands forever.
  • Do not Expect: Most of the times we get mournful because we are emotionally broken, we feel hurt, something gets against our expectations or someone breaks our trust. This happens because we expect from others. This should be engraved in everyone’s mind that it is only ourselves from whom we should expect something. The world today is very narcissistic. No one feels to be solicitousabout other’s feelings, emotions or their expectations. So, if we stop expecting, we stop getting hurt. Conclusively, we will be happy.  It is only we who can take the imperative pains to make ourselves delighted. No one else gives damn about it.
  • Look forward to your Happiness: When we feel hungry we go and feed ourselves. When we feel drained, we take rest. Whenever we want something, we work to get it. So in order to be happy we need totreasure trove our happiness. For example, we are not happy with the job we are currently pursuing then we need to take an action and find ourselves a new job. Happiness will not come and find us. We need to aim at it. Sitting and thinking that why we do not have any happiness in our lives is not any way. We need to get up and work in order to be happy. For instance, if we get happy seeing ourselves fit and slim in the mirror, then we need to work out for that happiness.
  • Stay in an Uncluttered Environment: Even our physical surroundings have a lot of effect on our mental well-being. A crummy, dirty, smelly, untidy, and unhygienic environment has a very undesirable effect on our mind. We start to think negatively. On the other hand, if we live in a clean, fresh, hygienic aura we will feel positive. This positivity will reflect on our face in our smile and give us happiness. So if you feel that you are unfortunate and discontented with your life then you should start to clean your house starting from your room. Live in an environment free from dust and pollution. Omit all the unnecessary entities out of your room. Keep everything in an appropriate place. Fill your place with nice fragrances. Surround yourself with fresh flowers. You will automatically feel positive, relaxed and happy.
  • Stay Healthy: If we are not well, we automatically get unhappy. The changing lifestyle has made us prone to many chronic diseases like diabetes, heart problems, joint pains etc. we keep on thinking about these disease and get stressed. We feel wistful. Instead of feeling sad we should make ourselves fit and healthy. Eat healthy food. Incorporate some physical exercise in your day-to-day drill. Exercise does not only burn out our calories but it makes our mind more relaxed. Along with calories it also burns our stress, tension and depression. After spending a small amount of time on the exercise we feel a lot happier than before.
  • Change your Attitude: Most of the times, it is your mental outlook which makes us unhappy. By changing our attitude we can surely change the way we feel. Instead of criticizing other we should first look upon ourselves. Sometimes we blame our fault on others and get angry and ultimately we are the ones who become sad and depressed. We should change our attitude of being selfish and hurting other because one day it will make us guilt ridden. Guilt can cause a lot of unhappiness. If someone hurts us we should forgive him instead of getting angry and remembering it for a year and looking for a chance to take revenge. This will make our mind free and we will be able to look for more new good things in life. Small changes in our attitude can cause an enormous change in our lifestyle. If we make our life more peaceful and stress-free, we will become happy.
  • Company Matters: The way you feel and the way you live largely depends on the people you hang around with. If you stay with people who are very depressed, hurt, tensed or sad from their life they will have the same impact on your life. Listening to their problems, at some time you will feel that you have the same problems in your life also. But if you stay with happy and cheerful people you will learn to enjoy life. Cracking jokes on each other may seem a nonsense thing but it actually creates a laughter and happiness in us. The more we laugh, the more it is good for us.
  • Explore your Talent: Keep your mind busy. Stay away from all the absurd and unnecessary thoughts. The point is that if you will keep on thinking about something then it will never leave your mind. It will stay there and make you unhappy. So you should not think about all the rubbish which makes you sad and keep your mind busy with other things. Practice your hobbies like painting, singing, dancing etc. if you do not have a hobby, develop one. Try to learn new things. Maybe in this way, you will get to know your hidden talent. Spend more time with your hobbies rather than spending your precious time on useless things.
  • Do not Compare yourself with Other: Every person is unique in itself. Do not compare yourself with others. Every person has different needs and flairs and different thinking also. You should focus on yourself. If you will always think about someone who has a better lifestyle than you will feel inferior to them and will feel sad. Sometimes it happens that a person is showing off. He is not actually that happy as he seems to be. Other people feel jealous of them and get sad. Instead of feeling sad, this jealousy should be taken in a healthy way. You should work in order to reach that level of lifestyle. Comparing yourself with others will always leave you with a feeling of jealousy, hatred and unhappiness. So you should concentrate on your own life and happiness.
  • Pen Down a Diary: Before sleeping most of us think about all that happened to us in the day or what we did to others. At that time, write down in a diary about all the good things that happened to you. Write down about the good things you did to the other people and the good words someone said to you. Write down about everything which puts a smile on your face. While writing all these thoughts, you will forget the bad ones. And do not write about the bad and sad things in the diary. Make this diary a happy diary and go through it when you are feeling sad. It will definitely cheer you up and put a smile on your face.
  • Take Sound Sleep: Sleeping is the clear-cut relief to everything. Have good sleep daily. Do not compromise your sleep for anyone or anything. Sleep for a minimum of six to seven hours.  When we do not sleep amply, our mind starts to generate more negative thoughts which ultimately bring to us sadness.  So whenever you are in a bad mood, try to have a good sleep.
  • Be Contented: Stay contented and happy with what you have. Instead of dreaming about more and getting sad about it, think about others who do not even have the things which you have. Do not be materialistic. There are other people who are sad because they have a genuine reason for it. There are people who do not get food to eat or a house to live in. they beg around the town to earn a single meal. You are not sad then them. Be content with what you have. You will automatically feel happy.

Conclusion
Everyone desires to be happy but not all of them are able to feel it. This is because of the wrong definitions of happiness.  Happiness does not come from money, happiness comes from within. Thinking that you are sad will make you feel that you are sad. You should be contented and happy with everything you have. Do not be being jealous of others. God has a separate plan for everyone. Take good care of yourself. Eat healthily and exercise regularly. Devote proper time to sleep.
